Taken By Storm (Give & Take #2) By: Kelli Maine

Published: May, 7th 2013
Series: Give & Take Series

Deception, so many lies and destroying people’s lives, appears to be the only thing Enzo Rocha wants to accomplish.

“Taken By Storm” joins right where “No Take Backs” leaves off. Rachel is with Enzo at the Rocha Estate trying to find out why Merrick doesn't know about his 20 year old son M.J.

"If you take the most impossible route to anywhere and make it a thousand times more complicated, that's the way MJ goes through life."

We are introduced to a M.J a hot-headed, pissed at the world, kicked off the team and broken hearted guy. M.J is more like his Dad than he wants to admit.
We meet Maddie, his childhood best friend /love of his life.
Maddie left M.J just out of the blue and shattered his heart. She storms back in to town and his life at the same time Rachel shows up to talk about Merrick and find out what is going on. M.J’s feels the whole world has kicked him and he is down for the count.
Rachel convinces M.J to go to Turtle’s Tear and work it out there… and there is where more trouble hides.

The lies in this family run so deep, it leaves you to wonder if there is any truth at all in anyone.
We find out Heidi and Roger is lying and is more deceitful than anyone ever expected. They are helping Ezno, because apparently Merrick is that bad. We find out that Maddie has been sucked in to this lie so deep she left home and M.J behind. Maddie’s Dad ends up hurt and in the hospital because of it.

There are so many twists and turns in this plot that go so many different ways, I am still not sure who the bad guy or guys actually are!

The book is full of intense moments and hot sex; plus lots and lots of deception from so many people.

When all of the secrets finally come out, will this family still be standing?

I can't wait for the next book!
My M.J
