She decides to place an ad for a man on her video blog. At this time Chris calls to return her camera. And the chemistry she thought she imagined is real and it is strong.

Her dates get worse and worse and so on…

So Chris decides to help her out by sending a few guys her way.

During this journey McKenna heals herself and realizes that she needs something else in her life

Of course no awful mean man goes off into the night without causing more headaches. Todd doesn't want to see McKenna happy at all. He does things to make her just miserable, but McKenna gets help from an unexpected source to make the terror come to an end.

Maybe it is time for McKenna to put her big girl panties on and play a game of Qbert!

Ever have a day that sucks?
I mean sucks like a huge Donkey ass suck?
Yeah, well that was my day. Reading is my coping method, my escape from the Donkey ass days.
This book was the best escape I had in a really long time.


The story is written in a sarcastic, witty, romantic comedy kind of way. This book made me laugh, shake my head and roll my eyes. All at the same time!
Written from Drew’s POV and hang on because he doesn't hold anything back!
Drew is perverted, arrogant and Perfect…. just ask him, he will let you know just how perfect he is.
                 

Meet Drew Evans, his life is everything he has ever wanted. He is handsome, rich, at the top of his game at work, and women throw themselves at his feet…literally.
His life is going exactly the way he wants it to, that is until he is hit by the flu! Now he is a broken, whiney and face first down on his couch.

Katherine Brooks is like a full speed nonstop train, she doesn't let anything or anyone derail her from her goals. And she slams straight into Drew Evans chest knocking him right off his expensive shoe wearing feet.

I love Kate; she can match Drew word for word in a fight and stand eye to eye without blinking. He dishes out the worst and she hands it right back on a pretty tray.  He never has to try for anything and Kate pushes him and sends him into a realm of pissed off that he has never seen!

Drew wants Kate, but he has competition. Not something he is too familiar with, remember he gets everything he wants …. Always!  Kate’s ex comes back into the picture and now he needs to make some effort… big time effort.

     “You ever seen A Christmas Story? You know toward the end when Ralphie beats the ever-loving shit out of the bully? I hope to God you've seen it. Because then you'll know exactly what I mean when I say I'm about to go real fucking Ralphie on this son of a bitch.” 

Watching Drew try to plead his case is downright hilarious! And Kate, she won’t go down without a good fight.
The other characters balance the story line perfectly!  I won’t lie, Dee Dee scares the shit out of me too!

This book is a “have to read” book.

I have been waiting for this book to be available. The anticipation of waiting was worth the read.

The Tied Man (The Tied Man #1) By: Tabitha McGowan

 To Quote another reviewer:
"Well, that was one hell of a ride. But before I write this out, a fair warning - because I wish I had been warned beforehand."

I read this book awhile ago, but felt that it deserved a review.

This book is DARK
1. sick sexual behavior
2. non-consensual sex
3. heavy, heavy drug abuse
4. extreme violence
But saying all of that... the book was a great read.

The power of a strong heart is not to be underestimated. That would be Blaine’s biggest mistake.

Is love alone, tenacious enough to endure the darkest of fears to emancipate the one you love?



There will be a second book, but it isn't a sequel, in that there's no cliffhanger in 'The Tied Man #1', or need to buy a second book. The first book can be read as a stand alone

I am a huge fan of Nicole Williams’ books.  (Kind of hard to ever forget Jude!)

Jesse Walker is a tight jean wearing, country music listening, philosophizing cowboy.    

The Walker family accepts Rowan for who she is no questions asked.  She is thrown off her normal path, no one ever accepts her for her. 

Jesse goes toe to toe with Rowan never backing down from her smart mouth, handing it right back to her with the same force.

This book is a fast paced funny, sexy and suspenseful read.

I can't wait to see what crazy stuff these two get into next.

Maddie left M.J just out of the blue and shattered his heart. She storms back in to town and his life at the same time Rachel shows up to talk about Merrick and find out what is going on. M.J’s feels the whole world has kicked him and he is down for the count.
Rachel convinces M.J to go to Turtle’s Tear and work it out there… and there is where more trouble hides.

The lies in this family run so deep, it leaves you to wonder if there is any truth at all in anyone.
We find out Heidi and Roger is lying and is more deceitful than anyone ever expected. They are helping Ezno, because apparently Merrick is that bad. We find out that Maddie has been sucked in to this lie so deep she left home and M.J behind. Maddie’s Dad ends up hurt and in the hospital because of it.

There are so many twists and turns in this plot that go so many different ways, I am still not sure who the bad guy or guys actually are!

The book is full of intense moments and hot sex; plus lots and lots of deception from so many people.

When all of the secrets finally come out, will this family still be standing?

I enjoy the way all the characters from each book are in all the books. The stories just continue and flow as a normal friend/family group.

I love the van scene! I swear I could hear my own friends in that drunken conversation!
