I am a huge fan of Jennifer's books and her series'.

I have read the whole Lux series and love the opposite view on the whole Lux vs. Arum saga in this book.
If you have not read the Lux series I would suggest it.
The whole series is a great read, and Daemon is an awesome character to love/hate/lust after.
 
Now saying that Hunter gives Daemon a run for his money... still not sure who is hotter!

This book has a tiny little bleed through in it. Did you happen to catch it? There is a Lux in the hallway… any idea who that could be…hmmmm?
I can see a different path in the future for the Lux gang.


Hunter is a strong, cocky Alpha-Alien. YUP I said Alpha-Alien!~

He is the DOD's strongest weapon and assassin, not that he is happy about that. Serena is a human that knows too much. Hunter is sent to "contain" the situation A.K.A Serena. And that is where everything gets interesting.

Hunter is controlling and Serena is not receptive to his ways at all.

“You're not going to answer me?" Or do I need to repeat myself for a third time? It's okay. I like to hear myself talk.” 

He is frustrated with her and even more confused about his attraction to her.

“I stared at him in disbelief and sputtered, "You can't - Get off!"
One single brown arched up. "I can't get off? Oh, I most definitely can get off.” 

While the Lux series is more YA, Obsession is more of an adult series. Which makes me very happy… SQUEEEEEE!

I never thought I would be hott for an Arum but dayummm.

This book picks right SYL left off, Jett still pissed off because he can’t find Brooke. With all his options and patients exhausted, he calls in a ghost from his past to find Brooke.

This book has so many twists and turns, I am still not sure who is good and who is bad. I have so many questions about Jett, but I have just as many about Sylvie. We already know Jett Mayfield is a rich, powerful businessman with a “scary as HELL” hidden past but, Sylvie seems just so… I don’t know … acceptable, maybe with everything that is going on.
I know for DAMN sure that if people were shooting at me, breaking in to where I am staying and a seriously deadly car chase… I sure as HELL would not be all calm! I would have been either screaming my head off running away or drinking myself into a coma! HELL maybe both at the same time!
It’s almost like she is expecting it, and then she is finding things that no one else has thought about.
In all honesty she could be super smart or lucky. She may be even super calm and Zen. Or even highly medicated!

Suspense in the story holds your attention and the UST and sex heats up the book.

I give this book a solid 4.5 stars.

I will admit I have never thought about a career change to a maid in NYC before, but now I am questioning the switch.

This is not a story of girl meets boy... runs from boy and then they fall hopelessly in love. Girl doesnt not run, boy does not chase. straight up sexual attraction and hot sex laced with a little mystery and healing.

I read a few reviews that mention Rush getting soft or losing his edge. I don’t see Rush any differently, he loves Blaire and he loves his family… sometimes

Rush’s character has grown up; he is in love, getting married and is having a son. His life is taken on a different direction and he adjusted to it.
I love a big bad boy that goes all soft and gooey over his pregnant wife and baby… it’s like a wonderful warm chocolate hunk cookie!

We get to meet Dean Finaly, Rush's elusive womanizing rock GOD Dad and his band mate Kiro.

All the gang is in and around in this book too and seems to fill the missing pieces, tying all the stories together in a nice series.

One thing has NOT change... good ol’bitchy Nan. That girl needs a good ass kicking!
I do agree that Nan seems to be a huge focus in the book, I have a feeling we will see her get “her just desserts” soon!

Rush is regrettably trapped between starting his new life and closing out the mess from his old one.
How much agony and misery will bleed over to his new life. How much will Rush be willing to lose to tie everything up into a neat happy package?

When they finally get together the sex is HOT and the drama is just as HOT! Jet and Ayden have a lot of obstacles in their way and their happily ever after seems just out of reach.

This book started out a little scattered to me.

But very shortly you get into the book, it introduces you to a complex group of characters that you will soon love, hate and wonder WTH! 

Most of the book centers on Danny’s bar and the people that work and frequent there.

Max DeLucca is bartender at Danny’s. He is a strong broken Alpha- male that had his life and heart torn apart by a terrible excuse for a woman.

Janie and Lyla are best friends and have a Thursday night ritual, drinks at Danny’s.

You will soon learn that this group of people has become a close patchwork family; they meet every Thursday at the bar and every Sunday for dinner at someone’s home.

This book is a struggle to rebuild, forgive and let go of the past.  Everyone in the book has a story, some you get closure on and some are open still. 

The book blends all of the characters into the storyline seamlessly. This makes for a clear opening for book two and even three.

This is Lisa’s first book and a solid start. I can't wait to read the rest of the story.

Danielle West, aka Danny, daughter of Deuce President of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club.

I enjoyed how this book picked right up where Undeniable leaves off. We begin with finding out that Eva and Deuce are having issues finding their happily ever after.   The horrible things Frankie did to Eva, Deuce and Ripper have caused emotional damage on all of the Hell’s Horseman MC. Deuce currently is trying to save both of his families, his strong hold has slowly broken and he is lost in the memories of the past.
Danny’s life has fallen apart since that nightmare. Looking at her life now, it’s a mess without any direction. Her senior year is here and nothing she ever planned is happening. She goes to the prom alone and calls for a ride. IN walks Erik “Ripper” Jacobs …. And let the fireworks start.
Ripper ends up dancing with Danny at the prom.

“Danny," Ripper whispered in my ear.
"Three songs gone by and there's some old fuckin' bitch makin' statutory rape faces at me.”

She convinces Ripper to take her anywhere but home, they go to the lake.
Danny gets Ripper to skinny dip and thing really heat up.

“He looked down at his flaccid cock.
”Congratulations," he said. "You've just fucked yourself to death.”

Ripper is 14 years older that Danny and is a sergeant to her Dad. There is one emotion that can destroy love and that is FEAR. Things go bad then…. They go really bad!

“If your old man caps me, you better be front and center at my fuckin’ funeral, cryin’ your goddamn eyes out.”

Ripper ends up leaving and blowing Danny’s already messy life to pieces.  Danny is wounded, miserable and pissed! She makes everyone else around her that way too.


That is until ZZ comes in to the picture and everything gets a little better. Then like a bomb to her life… Ripper comes back.

Danny has to make some tough decision that will affect more than just her.
